About the Author

Dr. Jason J. Jones is currently an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Stony Brook University.  Previously he was a postdoctoral researcher in the political science department of the University of California, San Diego. His doctoral dissertation addressed the cognitive psychology of network learning.  He remains an infrequent but skilled web developer and online marketing consultant, and a dabbler in machine learning.  Keep reading the Shotgun Approach blog to see how he spreads himself so thin.
